His fitness trainer said that it was possible only because Cavill had kept up the Superman regimes in the big break between the two films. Ben Affleck beefed up for the role of Batman. Affleck started working out 2 hours a day as soon as he was cast in the role. He gained 30lbs of muscle and reached 8% of total body fat.

20. Gal Gadot historically needed three breasts to become Wonder Woman!

Actress Gal Gadot portrays Wonder Woman in this movie. She faced some fan backlash about the Wonder Woman’s breast from the comics. To which she answered that Wonder Woman is Amazonian and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had one breast. So, if she really goes by the book then it will be problematic. She practiced various skills such as Kung Fu, sword fight, kick boxing, and jujitsu as part of physical preparation for her role.

Actor Jason Momoa plays the character of Aquaman in this movie. He confirmed that his contract with DC was a 4 picture deal.

The movie stars Oscar Isaac, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Helman, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Olivia Munn, Rose Byrne, Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, and Evan Peters in lead roles.

17. Jean Grey then and now!

Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner plays Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016).

She sharer similarities with Famke Janssen (played Jean Grey in previous X-Men films).

Both actresses are not natural redheads (Jean Grey is). Turner is Blonde and Janssen is brunette.

Both are European and an inch taller than their co-star playing Cyclops. Tye Sheriden is 5’8″ but Turner is 5’9″ and James Marsden is 5’10” but Janssen is 5’11”.

Filmmakers has confirmed that X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) will take place in 1983. This will feature other familiar characters in their youth. In the original trilogy, Angel, Psylocke and Jubilee are portrayed as younger than Cyclops, Jean, Storm, and Nightcrawler. However, Jubilee is being portrayed as the same age as the four, while Psylocke and Angel are now older.
