14. No Wolverine this time!
Hugh Jackman has appeared in all X-Men films. However, this will be first X-Men film not to feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. He has confirmed that untitled Wolverine sequel in 2017 will be his last portrayal since 2000s.

13. The Xavier and Magento relationship!
X-Men: First Class (2011) was about magneto becoming empowered, the origin story of a man’s power. X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014) was about Charles X becoming empowered, a guy who is a mess but masterminds the end of a massive event. This film has them both at their peak and finally going at each other!”
12. Age of Apocalypse.. Or just Apocalypse.?!
Initially the film was titled “Age of Apocalypse” but this was changed to simply Apocalypse. This was also done to avoid comparison with Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014). This movie comes out on 10th anniversary of X-Men: The Last Stand.

11. More mass destruction leads to to more entertainment!
X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) contains more mass destruction than any previous X-Men films. This is a disaster movie featuring an extinction-level event. Director has described that X-Men: Apocalypse is a big monster of a movie. According to Simon Kinberg, Apocalypse doesn’t distinguishes between humans and mutants unlike other villains. To him, it’s all one giant screwed-up world that worships false idols and needs to be saved from itself. He is like the god of the old testament: “If there isn’t the order and worship then I’ll open up the earth and swallow you whole!”
10. Baddest and Darkest villain of all timetime!
According to filmmakers, Apocalypse is the baddest and darkest villain of all time. He presents a new charismatic mutant leader (other than X and Magneto) that will draw people to his cause. He is not destroying the world because he can. Whatever he is doing is justified and validated by a really compelling philosophy in his mind.
9. James McAvoy is new Patrick Stewart!
Actor James McAvoy shaved his head for the role of professor Charles Xavier. He said that it was something he had wanted to do in previous X-Men movies. Xavier’s wheelchair in the teaser trailer is the same one Patrick Stewart used in X-Men(2000).
8. Wolverine is out of league now.!
Havoc, Mystique, Professor X, Magneto and Beast are the only mutants to appear in all 3 prequel X-Men movies.
