Director Bryan Singer has stated that this film is conclusion of six X-Men films. He also said that this film is potential rebirth of younger, newer characters and “the true birth of X-Men”.
6. DC’s answer to flash!
This is the fifth time Quicksilver appears in a film. His X-Mansion run lasts 3 minutes but took more than 3 months (more than any actor) to shoot. The sequence was shot with 3D Phantom cameras travelling at 50mph while shooting at 3,100 frames per second.

Director Bryan Singer has described villain Apocalypse as a mutant acting as a god. He is hard to break and it’s why he thinks he’s a god. He has a big giant ego that, the world lacks order and respect/devotion to him. He think world needs to be wiped out and rebuild.

Nightcrawler is going to appear in this film for 2nd time. In the comics, Nightcrawler is the son of Mystique and Azazel.

Jennifer Lawrence has confirmed that this will be her last appearance as Mystique. X-Men: Apocalypse (2016) is also end of contract for actors Jame McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult but they have expressed interest in future sequels/prequels.
