Deadpool (2016) is based on the Marvel superhero character of same name. It is the eight installment of X-Men film series.
Deadpool (2016) tells the story of a deadly cancer patient former Special Forces Operative Wade Wilson. He is caught in a dark deal in which he is subjected to rogue experiments that leaves him with accelerated healing powers. He turns the cards on his maker and adopts the alter ego Deadpool.

22. It started 4 years earlier! 

A three minute test footage of Deadpool was shot 4 years earlier in January, 2012. This was an attempt to convince the studio to move forward with the movie. The footage was released to public on 1st August, 2014. There was a overwhelming positive response from the fans and as a result production started for the film. The footage became so popular that part of it was recreated for this film.

21. Different Deadpool same actor! 

This version of Deadpool differs from the one shown in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009). This is because of change in timeline due to time travels in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014).

20. Ryan Reynolds twitter backlash! 

Ryan Reynolds twitted on April Fool’s day 2015 that the movie will be PG-13. This prompted a fan backlash as the lead character is shown swearing frequently and commits act of graphic violence. Later that day Ryan confirmed that previous tweet was a prank and the movie would be R-rated.

19. Then DC’s Green Lantern, now Marvel’s Deadpool! 

In the trailer Wade Wilson request, “Don’t make super suit green or animated!” This is a clear reference to his previous movie role as Hal Jordan in DC’s Green Lantern (2011). He has stated that his green suit as Green Lantern was a special effects not an actual costume to put on.
