Warcraft (2016) is an action/adventure/fantasy movie tells the story the peaceful realm of Azeroth, which stands on the brink of war as its civilization is threatened by a fearsome race of invaders Orc warriors. Orc warriors are fleeing their dying home to colonize another. Two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

A new Orcish dialect was created specifically for the film.

The books “Rise of the Horde” and “The Last Guardian” is the source of this film. Rise of the Horde tells how the Orcish Horde was formed and The Last Guardian shows the human side and the reaction to Orcish invasion.

Warcraft (2016) went through 20 months of post-production after filming was complete. Producers have said that director Duncan Jones and special effects team are going to present a film which is truly Mind-blowing.

During the Comic-Con, a fan asked director Duncan Jones where he would be shooting the film. As he was not allowed to disclose the location, he only hinted at his t-shirt which said “Vancouver”. Most of the film is shot in Vancouver.

11. Weapons of Warcraft!
Lifesize weapons and suits of armour were built for the Orcs despite of Orcs being played by actors via motion capture technology. The weapons were built mainly for photographic references and use them as props on sets.
