11. DC Comics objected to the name Elastigirl, due to similarity with their character Elasti-Girl. A compromise was reached whereas outside of the film (promotional materials, etc.) Elastigirl would be known as Mrs. Incredible.

9. Brad Bird was sought out as the first choice for the director’s job of Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens (2015). Bird respectfully declined the offer in order to do this film. Bird stated when you get the rare chance to do an original film like this, you take the opportunity. 8. In the background of the World’s Fair, the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland and the Fox from Pinocchio are walking together. The White Rabbit traditionally symbolizes going as far forward as you can, even down mysterious holes for the sake of an adventure. The Fox symbolizes being tricked at the idea of something promising and ending up in a bad place because of it. Both are themes in this movie.
